So why wouldn’t you touch the spread then? You would just go Tech + 12.5. You’re not really betting against Iowa State with that big of a spread.

If I am wrong it won't be more than a yard or two either way. It is around 5 yards every year.

I found this interesting if you had an average of 5 yards that you would just be outside the top 15 in the country. If I'm reading that right.

In the FBS 5 yards per would put you at 46th which is roughly in the middle so he is just about right. I think the median is actually 6.67 yards.
