Most projections have Minnesota or Northwestern in the Rate Bowl. I haven’t seen a single one with Nebraska there (doesn’t mean they won’t be).

Going to be a wild final week in the Big 12. Four teams trying to get bowl-eligible.

Baylor (5-6) vs Houston
Kansas State (5-6) vs Colorado
UCF (5-6) at BYU

KU could catch a break being at home vs UU, we'll see. Doubtful
BU seems almost 50-50 chance.

If you go and look at the historical matchups, it's weird. The Liberty Bowl almost always has a decent Power 5 matchup and the only years it doesn't in the past 15 years, ISU gets sent there to play Memphis or Tulsa. You have to think that the Liberty Bowl reps recognize this and would want to avoid that again when considering ISU fan participation. If I were JP that would be high on the agenda when participating in any discussion with them.

Payouts are split between conference members. Doesn't matter who goes where.
Doesn’t pertain to the point I made. He had Vegas as 1. It’s one of the lowest paying bowls that we would have. Two reasons we are with the Liberty bowl is that it’s almost a 5 MM payout, which is much better than Vegas and many others, and it’s close for most of the teams.
Hopefully Pollard is telling the Liberty Bowl to not take us.
Liberty Bowl is fine ONLY if we can play a P4 opponent.
Not a point about you personally but more about the overall state of college athletics where fans think about bowl payouts more than the destination or experience.
There is no universe where Memphis is more fun than Vegas lol.
Guy #3: Iowa Bowl vs Iowa (played at Principle Park because the best football is played in baseball stadiums)
Pollard could always lobby Yormark to invite Memphis to join the Big 12 and solve this problem once and for all.
