Is this statistic accurate?

We may be the only tournament team with three rebounders greater than 6.8.

Speaking of rebounding... Georges has been doing a great job on the boards the last few weeks. Rebounding will be important in the tourney. Duh, like I really needed to say that. But it is very important. If we play our game, and don't get off to slow starts like we have in many games this year, then we can go all the way IMO.

Delaware has 3 guys who average more per game than our 3 guys. All over 18/game. I think they really meant high major teams. Delaware is good btw. Too bad they have to face MSU, but the game will be closer than a lot of people think. This is the same Delaware team who lost @Nova by only 4 without their leading scorer and still put up 80.

This is the same reason I rather quickly dismiss any stats about NCCU. They may be good, but not as good as their stats.

I think they're good but yeah. The thing is that people are saying how they beat NC State. They did, and anybody who's actually followed college basketball knows that NC State was not a tournament team until they won 5 of their last 6 games. If you go back to March 2nd, NC State was 5-9 in the ACC, which was less than 3 weeks ago. They've beaten 4 teams in the ACC with a .500 or better conference record. Florida State (9-9), Maryland (9-9), Pitt (11-7) and Syracuse (14-4). Of course, 'Cuse has lost 5 of their last 7. All of their other conference wins were against teams with a losing conference record.

They are 5-9 against teams in the NCAA tournament, and one of those wins was last night in the play in against Xavier, and another was against Eastern Kentucky. Take away those two games and they're basically 3-9 against tournament teams from power conferences and one of those wins is against a recently struggling Syracuse team who lost to 8-24 Boston College and 16-17 Wake Forest.

Here's another trivia stat to ruminate on: 2002 Maryland is the only school since 1979 that has won a national championship without a Mickey D's All American on the team.

Item #6
