Regional rivalries are what makes college football so great. Sadly they are becoming a thing of the past.
 
Interesting debate here on the balance of scheduling in college football. I personally don't see why they couldn't do a combination of both. Have all P5 schools play the same number of games against other P5 schools but maintain the regional rivalries.

Side note, apparently Iowa isn't a Power 5 school anymore. :twitcy:

That was absolutely hilarious, listing Iowa State as one of the Big 12 schools that will not play another P5 conference school this year.
