As an Illinois fan the ******* of a head coach the ******* AD hired. Both can take a flying leap.
The Iowa game was 8 days ago. There should be a 7-day limit after the game on Hawkeye posts.
All humor is based on some form of human misery. I've gone out of my way to be decent to my Hawk friends. I remain thoroughly amused.
Some Hawk fans are completely delusional and unbearable. Luckily I have a new job, but at my old job I actually had a co-worker try to tell me the Hawks have been a better basketball team than Iowa State over the past 15 years. Uh, yeah......
Um...so...just what is being said here? I'm going to have to break this down--
"completely flabbergasted"--I think you're saying your confused. OK. That's understandable. I am too.
"and butt hurt"--yes, hurting butts DO hurt!
"our neighbors are to the east"--this is where my face gets all Oprah.
"Thought quite highly of themselves, apparently." I recognize these words, but for some reason, they do not make sense when placed in this order and used within the context of the rest of your post. Can you please clarify?
I think there's a big cloud of butt hurt forming on the radar to the east. Hopefully it doesn't catch wind.
