How many of you are Rockets fans now and will be watching the NBA more often? Also, do you guys think that Royce is going to stay in Houston or get traded? How many minutes do you think he will play per game if he stays in Houston?

Excited for him, and also excited to see him play next year.

I am now, granted he stays on the team. I'll watch whatever team he's on really. It's hard to say how many minutes/game he'll get. Depends on how he does in the summer league and such. He could show everyone his beast mode or he could look semi average against other NBA guys and come off the bench. I think it'll be easier to answer the minutes question in 3 or so months.

Whatever team he's on is my favorite team and I'll watch as much as I can

I wouldn't say that I will be a Rockets fan, but will tune into their games whenever they are on and cheer for the team and Royce to do well. I think its possible to be a Royce fan without being a Rockets fan.

I will also be cheering for Golden State and HB.

I didn't really have a team to root for except whoever was playing the heat, so I will be a Rockets fan.

I was always a Rockets fan back in the T-Mac days. Kinda fadded when he was gone and they started sucking. But now that Royce is a Rocket I was finally able to break out my old rockets T-Shirt!

Haven't been a NBA fan in years. This will give me an excuse to watch whenever I get a chance to see Royce. Too many of the players are total knuckle-heads. Royce will definitely add some class.

If Royce is on the team, I'll try to get to more Rockets games this season. I don't really follow the NBA, but it'd be cool to see a Cyclone on the floor. Since the Rockets are terrible, there are some decent ticket deals to be had, so I might have to capitalize on them.

He'll be my favorite player wherever he goes, so I'll cheer for whatever team he goes to.

Whatever team he's on. I can't really say Houston right now because of all the trade rumors for Dwight Howard.

Wherever Royce plays, they'll be my favorite. (Unless he would somehow end up in Miami haha)

Someone once said to me that the NBA is a player-fan sport (if that makes sense), unless you live in close proximity geographically to a team. I thought about what that guy said for minute, and came to the conclusion that it's true. I live in Iowa, so I don't live geographically close to any NBA team. I grew up a Bulls fan, but once Michael Jordan left Chicago, so did my fanhood. My interest for the Bulls were gone, but my interest for Michael Jordan wasn't. If Royce White had ended up in say, Sacramento, I would have become a Kings fan last night.

Ehh...i probably wont. Not that i dont appreciate Royce, and thinks hes a great human being....i just cant get on board with a team i couldnt name one player on prior to last night, and who is never on television up here. I had to look up the roster to be reminded they had guys like Scola, etc.

Having said that....houston actually has a couple players around his position....i just cant see them keeping all three of those guys.
