Of corn?

Boiled post husk?
Grilled in husk?

Just butter? Salt?

Grilled up a couple ears tonight and put some of that white Mexican crumbly cheese and a squeeze of lime on top. Yum!

We boil it. I'm anxiously waiting for the Facebook meme to let me know the new technique to make silking easy.

I usually boil them post husk. Roll them on a stick of butter until there is way more butter than there needs to be, sprinkle some S&P, and enjoy.

I’m guessing that I’m in the minority here, but I like to eat corn on the cob in columns, not rows.

Prefer boiled with butter, salt and coarse fresh cracked black pepper, but I would take it grilled.

Either way it doesn't get eaten without these little babies:

Microwave in the husk or microwave husked in plastic wrap. Butter and salt. Just enough butter to make cleaning it out of my mustache a royal pain.

Boiling is what I grew up on. I really try and limit usage stove and oven usage when its swamp ass conditions out and heat up the house.

If you don’t eat it like a typewriter types then you are doing it wrong.
Here is my reasoning:

I put a lot of butter on my corn, and I am continually rotating it so it doesn’t just drip off the corn. That’s why I eat it in columns. If you eat it in rows, the butter will run off into the already eaten space. Also, don’t take diet advice from me.

I heard WOI's Doug Brown once tell of how his in-laws (from Chicago) sent the newly weds a gift of toilet paper,, thinking that Iowans were stuck with cobs.
