Scared? No. Respectful? Yes. If you don't respect every Big 12 opponent, you're an idiot. Just ask Kansas State.
Respectfully, Houston is terrible and may be the worst team in the conference. If we are who we and the coaches think we are this game will not be close.

No team is "terrible" in the Big 12. These are all college athletes who were recruited and they can all play. The fans often think the gap between these teams and their physical abilities is massive. It's not. It's small relatively speaking.

Houston held OU close and gave them a scare at OU. HOU isn't terrible. ISU should win and I hope it will be two or more possessions, but to state unequivocally the "game will not be close" is foolishness. I would bet the line will be between 10 and 14 favoring ISU. Not a pushover, and I would expect a game that is still in doubt in the 4th quarter.

Terrible is relative. Houston is a 4-8 G5 team this year which relative to P4 schools is terrible. The OU game was an anomaly. We should roll them

The first paragraph is full of middle school coach feel good platitudes which I'm going to ignore.

Houston is 1-3. They beat a terrible Rice team 33-7 and as you mentioned played OU tough losing 16-12. Their other two losses are to UNLV 27-7 and Cincy 34-0. The most points they've scored against anyone with a pulse is 12. All the data supports Houston being a terrible football team, likely the worst in the conference.

I did not state "unequivocally" the game would not be close. But yes, if we are as good as we think the game should not be close. Based on Campbell's statements and attitude he believes this team can/should contend for the conference title. Teams of that caliber should make light work of teams of Houston's caliber.

Who shouldn’t listen to them? How are you preparing for the Houston game?
I’m saying we shouldn’t as a fan base listen to how bad they think they may be, I’ve done that before as a fan and just assumed even as a Cyclone that we have 4-0 in the bag. This team has big potential

You say that as if any of us have anything to do with the outcome.
Was only saying it because it’s so nice to see 4-0 within grasp. But as a fan it’d be easy to assume this would be an easy win, only to somehow be let down. Was just an opinion
