I edited the link. I think I posted main news link instead of article.

There’s no guarantee their Covid issues wouldn’t have been worse in September. Maybe even much worse

Have you looked at any of the current numbers for Covid? I mean yeah it would have been easier. Far less community transmission and make up dates. Like all the conferences that have done this successfully.

Nobody babbles incoherently like Shatel does when talking Nebraska or Big 12 or Big 10 or, hey, anything. I couldn't even finish the article.

Big10 screwed the pooch and now they're going to have to "adapt" in order to get their pony in the race. I love it!
And with there little **** circle jerk weekend after this, who the **** knows what'll happen. Probably have 2 new year 6 teams, an a playoff contestant. Media sure loves some big 10

This is my thing about the Big Ten’s decision. If they wanted to be more cautious and really put all of there effort on protecting their programs from COVID, I applaud that and am all for it.

However, then realize that the choice to do so should basically forfeit you from playing in the CFP. Just my opinion when three other conferences (Big 12, ACC and SEC) went ahead and wanted to see if a full schedule could be accomplished. Guess what? They showed you could do it with a few games being canceled here and there, and in the end those three conferences should be rewarded because they showed you COULD have done it. Just don’t think you can reward the Big Ten or PAC-12 for the decisions they made. And again nothing wrong at all with their decisions to put the virus containment first, but you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

I don’t understand. And what data do we have that the big 10 can successfully manage a season during a pandemic? As far as I can tell they are 0 for 1

That teacher in the subaru from Bend, Oregon was on the committees for the Big10 when decisions were made back in July and August.

This is kind of how I view the marriage between Nebraska and the Big 10
