Missouri kid is ranked 10th. They usually bring most of their guys, so that would be a good gauge on Carr right off the bat.

Boy, I didn't realize how much Degen will have to have his act together right out of the gate.

Degen is 0-3 against Thomsen. That is a bad matchup.

Leeth did not wrestle for Missouri last weekend. Not sure what the story is there.

Colbray vs Lujan is probably the one I’m most excited for.

I've seen a Degen/Thomsen match in person. That really feels like one kid he's going to have to do something completely different to beat. That funky stuff just isn't going to work on Max.

Degen spit with Mauller last year, beating him pretty easily in the dual and losing a close one at NCAAs. Degen will be a top 3 guy if he can win that match.
He has to get to that match which is the problem. I think he’s much more likely to beat Mauller than Thomsen.

Interested to see what happens with UNI's roster. Biscoglia @125. Bennett @133. Blockhus @141. Geerts @157. Steiert now @174? Lujan @184. Holschlag back @197. Excited to see how some of the matches shake out early with Cyclones and UNI.

Geerts is that big now? I think he’ll be pretty tough this year overall.

UNI has some really good young talent, they aren’t going away any time soon.

Saw Austin Gomez listed in Track as an entry to the Cyclone Open, but I thought I heard (from FLO I believe) that he wouldn’t be down to 133 until CKLV... is Gomez going 141 for this open?

He's registered at 141 on Track.

Ramazan going open division right away. Might say a little bit about how the staff feels about how he's progressing. Cabanban is another fresh/soph eligible guy who is registered for the open division tournament.

We'll have 5 guys at 165. 3 attached (Straw, Judge, & Entriken) and 2 unattached (Mulder & Schumacher). I imagine they are going to do everything to get redshirts for Mulder and Schumacher this year.

UNI has most of their guys coming. Only starter I don't see is Holschlag. They have their stud recruits, Runyon and Keckeisen, registered in the fresh/soph division.

Former Cyclone Zemua Baptista is registered at 149 for Nebraska.

#15 Wilson from Northern Illinois is registered at 184, good test for Colbray right away. Not sure how that will get seeded, but he might have to beat Wilson and Lujan from UNI to win.
