I would do my own a lot in college (just a straight buzz cut) but if I let it grow out a little bit and wanted something nicer Troy did a good job. I liked the camaraderie more than anything. Usually 4-6 guys in there shooting the breeze with ESPN on the flat screen and plenty of magazines to flip through.

Monty's shoulder was going out towards the end, he had to have surgery on it, and he golfed quite often before that happened.

Live out by Sheldahl, see him all the time at Hilton.

I was about 4th in line there one summer and McCarney came in and shot the **** with me on the little couch the whole time. Hilarious dude.

I go to Troy's(Old Monty's) and love it! I've been going there since Monty was cutting hair and the atmosphere feels similar without the nasty couch. Troy has hundreds of people going there and still remembers my name, cut, and the previous conversation we had over a month ago every time. He just had a his second child like two weeks ago and may be in and out while its young. Cyclones talk is great there after a good win!

Wow. Didn't expect him to still be at it. I bet if I stop in sometime, he would know exactly who I was. And it's been like 15 years or more.

Yeah, he has been there about 25-30 years.
