They have an advantage on Iowa too. Minn was awesome before electricity, they have 6 NC's.

I lived in Minnesota (Apple Valley) for four plus years and actually like the Gophers (as much as I can like a big ten team). M/SP is one of my favorite urban areas though I never did understand why you people come to a complete stop every time you cross over a river (my commute to Edina saw me cross the Minnesota River on either Cedar Avenue or I-35)! I also hated the always empty commuter lanes and the stupid stoplights at the end of freeway entrance ramps! Anyway, I digress...

I predict ARob (of DeLaSalle HS on the island) will run wild on the vaunted Gopher defense and be named MVP in a 27-9 Cyclone victory.
