Go Cyclone Radio

I've always pushed for a-la-carte cable TV. I don't want to pay for E! or HSN or any of that crap. I have like 4 channels I watch.

I feel like this is another step in that direction. And that's good.

Although it's still we end up paying over $100 eventualyl for TV by the time you add in Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, FSN+. HBO+, etc etc.

Streaming is really an urban vs rural divide I think. Or more accurately a good internet vs bad internet thing. Until everyone can get good enough internet that streaming works well there’s going to be a ton of pushback.

WARNING!
OLD MAN DIATRIBE MANIFESTO RANT APPROACHING

Yeah I am in NCC and have season tix to FB an MBB; have had for 10 years running and a few years on and off before that. I have driven back and forth from CR more times than I can count. Subscribe to cyclones.tv too. Don't tell me I don't care enough. You can shove that where the sun don't shine, frankly.

Based on your contributions, what part of my first sentence even suggested you were the intended audience for my comments?

P.S. I am older than you.

Short sighted Millennials? The people who even care to watch network television will all be gone in 20 years. Who's short sighted now?
Your point of view means LESS coverage for Iowa State on the National scale. Nobody not affiliated with Iowa State or their opponent is going to go to an app to watch a Cyclone game. Meanwhile, the teams on ESPN / ESPN 2 / ESPNU are on in bars from Alaska to Florida, from Maine to Hawaii and everywhere in between.

My point of view also has zero effect on what conglomerates will do. This is about money Gramps.
