Game Thoughts Cincin Loss

Being a HOuston fan, we are licking our wounds here. However, we are still not going to be able to be ISU in a game until we get better. Saying that, having Cincinnati beat you was a stunner. The first thought in my mind was, we are all going to get better as our teams compete, but honestly, this was a shocker for me. Still best wishes for our Cyclones bros. Hope you make it to the CFB but worried about your CB losses

Unfortunately, we have a dinged up Orange and everyone else on the DL are just guys. We are going to need to trust Bell and Taylor to cover guys and have everyone else flowing to the ball, because the DL is not going to beat blocks until Orange is healthy.

I don’t think our defense was giving Bell and Taylor help against UC. I just think UC spread us out and our 6 guys in the box didn’t get off blocks, fill holes, or tackle.
