I don't think I've watched the basketball version of GameDay. I feel like they could use someone like Pat McAfee on this crew. Missing some of his energy. It'd be cool if they could replicate the McAfee/Saban duo for basketball.

I don't mind Saban but no thanks to the 'in your face, let's get wild about everything' -ness of a McAfee type.

Basketball pregame just isn't the same without all of the tailgating etc.

I quit watching football gameday mostly because of him. I think I can hear him screaming even when I mute the TV. Why do people with mics insist on yelling?

If the temperatures would have been a little bit warmer, we would have had a tailgate.

I know I'm in the minority but I prefer the basketball gameday to football. Williams and Greenberg do a good job.

I like basketball because they actually have to talk about the Big 12.

McAfee is just a lever being pulled to try to pull in the young "sports bro" Bar Stool fans. At times I do like Pat but I can only handle him in semi small doses.

Especially Seth. After listening to his Friday interview you could hear that he really gets TJ, Iowa State, and Cyclones fans. His days at Virginia Tech allows him to relate. The two blue blood Duke boys, not so much.

I like Pat but probably because he's not an elitist snob like most of the rest of them are most of the time. Pat DGAF and I can appreciate that. I couldn't listen to him for a long time though.

I've only got espn or espn+ thru youtube and hulu . via apple tv. Neither search again, on those two, pulled up the Ames game day.

And I only have a cheap flip phone, so don't have the espn app on my phone. Oh well.

Great win Sat, one which we needed badly. Glad Game Day was there.
