Ha! Never really dated, definitely a best friend. He had/has a complex personality that I don’t think would have been a good match to mine - my bull**** tolerance meter is pretty low. I am sure he also only thought of me as a friend!!

Crayons has a whole “flesh tones” box of crayons! (Insert wiggly eyebrows)

Oh gosh, they will love it! I have a super complex photo storage system that is by child, by year, broken down into months. I use photos from January of the previous year in this January calendar, etc., that makes it super easy!

My bride loves old quilts. A couple quilt racks full of them. Our oldest had just married and our youngest was headed to ISU a few years ago so we cleaned some stuff out including clothes since the house got bigger. She kept some kids clothes and said she was going to make a quilt from the kids clothes. I kept some flannel shirts, pajama pants, and other stuff of ours and hid them with the thought I would make a quilt of our old clothes. Covid hit that spring. I have more free in the off seasons then she, and she was still working and volunteering. With the unknowns we didn't shop much that summer in town and and I needed a present and didn't want to just get something on line. My aunt helped me make a quilt that summer out of those old clothes' from us. I think it took me five times longer than she could have done it. She offered a few times. The squares were perfect but it came together nothing like I envisioned. haha. It was not too pretty but my wife went crazy. I don't think I will ever top that unless I leave her or something. haha.
