French Door Fridge

Looking to replace our dishwasher here soon. Any suggestions? It’s just the 2 of us, I’m planning on getting something pretty basic.

Have already checked out prices at a couple local places, going to check a few more tomorrow on the way to groceries.

When I redid our kitchen a couple years ago, I told my wife to get whatever appliances had the features she liked the most. As it worked out, all the major appliances are unmatching. But the KitchenAid dishwasher she got had both the stainless tub and the third row rack at the time when none of the others did. And to be honest it's been the best one performance wise of the four dishwashers I've ever bought. It wasn't cheap, maybe double the cost of the budget models, but it wasn't priced like a Bosch either.

All fridges are garbage. Just ask any repairman. I'm on our second whirlpool in 6 years and it's had a major repair.

Next time I'm going GE which pangs me because we're a Maytag family from back in the day.

Count me in the crowd of no issues with our LG French Door fridge.

Same here, had one for just over two years now. Good interior configuration with a lot of storage inside the doors. The icemaker hopper in the door is small if you need a lot, and the ice will bridge in the hopper from time to time, but I've not yet have any problems with the icemaker device itself. The Whirlpool we had before it was always quitting working.

Pro tip: if you're ever having icemaker issues, try pouring hot water into the maker tray before calling in a pro. I had a technician tell me the 80% of the time when he goes to service one, all that happened is that the tray did not clear properly which puts the mechanism into bypass mode.

I like our Beko we bought recently. The brand is all over Europe but just came to the US not too long ago. A lot of bang for the buck compared to other models in the same price range.
