Fred at the game?

Long time lurker, but I didn't yet see any speculation about whether Fred might stop by while the Cyclones are in town. The Bulls have away games on either side of Friday, but would they stop back in Chicago on their way to Orlando? Could he make an appearance at a walk-through or am I just dreaming?

*sigh* Sure would be great.

Doubtful, and I hope he isn't there. I don't feel like we need a camera shot of Fred every 3 minutes. This is Prohm's team now, and he deserves the kudos.

He won't be there on Friday as he will be sandwiched between a road trip to the Knick and Magic.

But if ISU wins on Friday, he'll likely be at the United Center on Sunday for the Elite 8 game as the Bulls have a home game Monday.

What I imagine is going to happen is Prohm takes the guys over on Wednesday and catches a Bulls game. Before or after that, I would imagine Fred will definitely talk to the guys. I would imagine he will miss the Friday game as he has to be in Florida on Saturday. However, if we win Friday, you can bet your bottom dollar Fred will be there on Sunday to cheer them to the Final Four. Fred has Sunday off (obvs) and the Bulls play at home on Monday. There is almost no way Fred would not be there for that game.

EDIT: C'mon, Adam. Why don't you make longer posts so I can beat you.

Prohm said in his post-game interview he hoped to have the team there Wednesday to watch the Bulls play and see Fred so I think Prohm is embracing it.

I've always wondered what kinds of encouragement and advice Fred texts Monte and Niang after big games. While it's Steve's team now, I hope Fred remains close to this group of seniors through these last four games.

I sure hope he doesn't offer any pointers to a coach who has more coaching experience and as many sweet 16s as he does. Would think a .500 coach has very little to offer this team and this program going forward other than DBs like you foolishly wanting to live in the past. Not like he could offer any advice or insight on defense or discipline.

And my asss you're a lurker.

Your hope is an impertinence.

I lurk enough to know that not everyone at CF is this classless.

Coach Prohm seems to have them pretty locked in and focused. Hopefully Chicago won't be a colossal distraction.

We may as well wish back one of the REALLY good coaches like LE or TF.
It's almost like you're the only one having this conversation. I get it, the game started midday for you out in WA. Day drinking will get you every time.

What scares me is that CF may only be voices in my head and not real. Yet I still argue. I think I need to change my tin foil!
