For the first time in 15 years...

I think Haliburton will be back next year. As we continue to struggle and good teams take him out of the game (because he is all we have obviously) his stock will fall a little. I think he likes it here and if he doesn't get unbelievable feedback he will come back for 1 more year. He doesn't wanna go out like this.
Dude is projected by most outlets as a lottery pick. Literally zero reason for him to come back. We should all be very excited one of our guys is going to go that high.

But we had tailgated for 3 hours before those football games so we were NUMB and it didn’t seem that bad

it sucked more when I sobered up during the game. I was in college so I walked there and had no alcohol on me the. Hung over in the sun and bored was awful.

He's gone even if he is projected in the 2nd round.

The $10 million will make going out like this more tolerable. If he’s a lottery pick, he isn’t coming back. Nor should he.

Obviously if he is a lottery pick or close to it he should and would go. My point is that i don't think he will be. I think he is gonna have some tough times in the big 12 being all we have playing against alot of really good coaches. There will also be some players around college basketball that have amazing 2nd halves of the season and foreign players that could leapfrog him. I love that kid and wish him nothing but the best but i certainly wouldn't be shocked if he is back next year.

I would watch the games with great interest even when we were so bad under McDermott. You were looking for something to latch on to. A little hope.

I'm with you, I can't even watch this. It's tremendously sad. This program was on the rise and doing great things. We had built a brand and we were gaining national traction. And remarkably in a few short years they've managed to drive this thing completely into the ground.

He's not coming back. And if his wrist isn't 100 percent he'd be wise to shut it down to avoid any slips in the draft.

don't correlate our record with TH's draft prospects.

niang, monte, burton, thomas, naz, nader, shayok, all went G-league to get a minimum nba deals.

TH is going lottery with guaranteed 2 years and 5m+. he's in a different universe.

For the first time in my roughly 15 years of Cyclone fandom, I turned to a different channel tonight. As a teen who was obsessed with ISU sports I would still love to come home and love watch Craig Brackins and crew lose on a Wednesday night. I suffered through the Chizik and McDermott eras, watched us lose 77-7 to Baylor in football and get smacked countless other time. I still watched every second I could because I loved it. I’m the guy who stays until the last second because I want to see what the reserves look like and what the future holds.

Maybe it’s just me getting older, but this isn’t even fun to watch.

I haven’t seen Hilton that apathetic since the 8-8 (0-5) start in the ‘04-‘05 season. And that team looked like it was coached by John Wooden compared to what I saw out there tonight

Yep.

A frontcourt of Conditt, Young, Foster, Blackwell, and Johnson should be one you can win with. Land a good grad transfer guard, and the backcourt should be enough to hold interest. I mean the GT, Bolton, and one of the freshmen should be serviceable. And Jackson could make a jump. Self, Drew, Beard etc would be at least on the bubble with such a team.

But Prohm needs a talent buffer to avoid losses to FAMU and Milwaukee, and to finish 9-9

We still won’t defend or rebound because Steve Prohm doesn’t require it

Basketball draft is dumb because the sports media decides who is going to be "the best player ever!!" and then no matter want happens they are drafted first. It's always, always preordained.
