You have me confused with someone else I wasnt even posting on here then.
His results over the last year show that .His open performance was lackluster. He had close matches with guys he's handled in the past. So my opinion on him based on what I saw leading up to Final X doesn't change.
He looked really good yesterday and impressed me.His training with JB definitely put him over the top. I was saying David needed partners in Ames which is 100% a fact. JB isn't in Ames and won't be moving there anytime soon. And if David is leaving for months at a time to train with JB is he really training and improving in Ames? Don't forget when he's gone the college guys don't get to wrestle with him and get better themselves. Remember an RTC athletes job is help the college guys as well

He left Ames to train with JB. So unless he gets partners in Ames he will be traveling for months as some said. And when that happens he's not in town making the college guys better as well which is also the job of an RTC athlete. If the partners were in Ames they would also be helping the college guys along with David.

Saying he hasn’t improved on the freestyle scene while being in the CRTC is just plain wrong.
I said over the last year I hadn't seen it. Don't put words in my mouth. Did JB get him where he was at for Mitchell? I remember everyone giving credit to JB before the match. So don't act like it now happened wrestling rostered athletes
He’s still training in Ames quite a bit with Coleman, now Rocky, Reineri, Ech, and our middle weight guys. In today’s day and age, these athletes are traveling all over the place to train- including guys coming to Ames to train with David. If he wants to go train for a 2-3 weeks with Burroughs, that’s fine by me. He’s still spending most of his time in Ames and he is getting better training with the CRTC. Odd hill to die on here when the CRTC is doing a pretty damn good job of bringing guys in with the resources we have
Not dying on any hill. Not sure how what I said doesn't make sense to people. I said David needs partners in Ames . And in order to get his best training he's gotta leave Ames. Not sure how people are confused by this

Because his performances against people he had beaten in the past wasn't as good. When he's the "guy" and people are chasing him he's different. When he's the underdog and feels no pressure he shines . Last night he shined and I was happy for him. Just because I have opinions doesn't mean I don't like David
Opinions are opinions sorry you don't understand what those are. Was the partner who helped David beat Mitchell in Ames? So could David use some better partners in Ames? So he doesnt have to leave and stay at someone elses house or a hotel
Yes it did. But domestically guys he was ahead of before closed the gap which made me think man David could use some partners in Ames. Not sure how people think thats so outlandish
David wants to be in Ames. He’s winning while being in Ames. He’s a huge asset to Iowa State Wrestling. I’m genuinely confused what you could think is wrong with the current situation.
You said he showed no improvement in the last year while taking out Olympic silver in February. Hahaha.
Answer what question? You don’t know who “helped” David win just like I don’t know. I’ll ask him for ya but he’ll just say the guys in Ames, JB and all the others they brought in to train with him.
One of the main jobs of an RTC athlete is to be at workouts and wrestle with the college guys. And if David is traveling for months as many have said then that's months that he's not helping the college guys. So if he had partners in Ames him and his partner or partners would also be helping the college guys. Because EVERYONE here is a fan of the college team FIRST
