Once in awhile when he travels . And JB doesn't live in Ames. The window isn't a big one and David has high goals . Just wondering how long he stays in the situation he's in now in Ames with no daily partners his level. Mitchell has so many partners and keeps jumping levels. I haven't seen much improvement in David over the last year

No improvement huh…interesting take

I'm not saying he is or isn't..

But he went 6-3 with Barraclough and 2-0 with Jacques at WTTs. He teched Jacques 11-0 at the US open just a couple weeks prior. He's had some interesting results and a bad match against Mesenbrink. To say the least he's been inconsistent and looked great lately while also looking a little off at times. He is lightning in a bottle (US open matches and Japan) when he can get a lace and end a match quickly.

I think Davids key to victory tomorrow is using mitchell's pressure against him. DC caught him right away with head inside single to a lace to go up 4-0 early at the open and thats the key to victory for David. Mitchell steps forward with pressure a lot, it's what he's best at and known for. David has to use that to his advantage and get to the leg with a transitional lace to follow.

David’s path to victory you’d think would be that he has to win match one, right? Hard to see him winning 2 and 3 both with Mesenbrink tank
