The Cincinnati coach seems to be right on our field. Everyone is slipping. What the hell is going on?
Disagree, night games are going to be sloppy in November with this weather but most years the turf team does a great job. Real grass fields are much more forgiving than field turf, look at how few of ACL injuries we’ve had over the years. It’s time for turf. When our own players are slipping all over our “home field”, you know it’s time.
Lots of rain lately, its mid november, and lots of night games (dew, etc)What happened to our award winning field? Seems like an issue this year, not sure what changed.
Except people have been having issues most, if not all year. I know its been talked about at least for the last 3 home games.Lots of rain lately, its mid november, and lots of night games (dew, etc)
Nah, it’s more than that,Lots of rain lately, its mid november, and lots of night games (dew, etc)
I was told after this game that we never play late November games at JTS. Or that it is such a rarity that it wont matter...

It’s been an issue, for both teams, in every game this year.Except people have been having issues most, if not all year. I know its been talked about at least for the last 3 home games.
It's been an issue all year...Its mid november, its been raining a lot lately (including today), and we've had a ton of night games which is harder on the field than day games this time of year.
Compared to turf it is always an 'issue' if you want it to be an issue. This might be an off year for the field, but there are reasons its not perfect this time of year. Heck watch NFL grass fields this time of year, I'd say ours has held up well above average. It's been an issue all year...
I hate turf. Our field is usually great, someone messed something up this year.Compared to turf it is always an 'issue' if you want it to be an issue. This might be an off year for the field, but there are reasons its not perfect this time of year. Heck watch NFL grass fields this time of year, I'd say ours has held up well above average.
At the end of the day if you're a turf guy, then you are a turf guy. If you aren't, you aren't. I'm not and as long as we can manage the field like we do, I won't be, nor will many (perhaps majority) of others.
