Smartless: Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes. Some days I'm in tears from laughing so hard.

I'll second this and add there are some episodes that are pretty bad which is almost always entirely the fault of the guest being a poor conversationalist. I specifically recall the Allison Janney episode being pretty tough to get through.

That's all to say: if you're considering this podcast, just know a given episode might be bad (it's fairly rare) so try a few other guests before you write it off.

Some of the better ones I recall are Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, and Melissa McCarthy.

Man, I've tried Kill Tony multiple times. I just don't get it. It's not for me.

I want them to switch to a more topical type of podcast instead of the interview format. Just those 3 shooting the **** is really funny.

That's what hooked my initially. Will Arnett's wit is so great. I loved Bateman's dry approach. I can take or leave Sean.

This is what hooked me:

In the McCarthy episode during the pandemic, she was talking about her vegetable garden hobby.

Bateman: So, what's your plan? Are you going to sell them at the farmer's market or something?

Arnett: Bateman, go f*** yourself with that question. She's Melissa McCarthy. She's not selling her g** d*** vegetables at a farmer's market.

I was dying.

Very good point. I don't make it through all of them. Vince Vaughn and Michael Keaton were two of my favorites.

In the Vince Vaughn episode Sean Hayes was talking about how crazy it was that him and Vince were the same age and were both born in Chicago. Will Arnett goes, "wow two men born in Chicago, one of the biggest cities in the United States, on the exact same year?! What are the odds of that? I'm guessing pretty ******* high."

Cold War Conversations (a podcast where the host interviews various people on both sides of the iron curtain about their experiences during the Cold War).

Side door: a podcast by the Smithsonian about different items in their collection

Mom can’t Cook: a comedy podcast of two guys who watch (mostly) Disney Channel Original Movies and then make fun of them.

Two other limited series that I liked:
D-Day: the tide turns: a miniseries about d day

A short series from JFK 35 (JFK’s presidential library) on the Cuban missile crisis.

13 minutes to the moon: a podcast about Apollo 11 and then Apollo 13

Definitely hit and miss on the bucket pull comedians, I like many of the regulars - Kam Patterson, Hans Kim, Ari Matti, etc. Mostly have it on as background noise when I'm working on house projects, yard work, or stationed at my desk at the office.

I don't find Tony particularly funny, but I'd agree on the regulars. Kam Patterson's funny and for some reason I'll never quite understand I think Casey Rocket is hilarious. Adam Ray's stuff is funny too.

I don't find Tony particularly funny, but I'd agree on the regulars. Kam Patterson's funny and for some reason I'll never quite understand I think Casey Rocket is hilarious. Adam Ray's stuff is funny too.

Tony is a no-talent ass clown, but Adam Ray as Dr. Phil is absolute gold.

Conan O'Brien and Stephen Colbert were good episodes. They got them to independently talk about what happened on a ski trip they were on and the stories are wildly different.
