F1 2025 Discussion

Thought it was a pretty fun race. Awesome that the rookie Bortoleto got his first points. He got undercut by Alonso and Lawson on pit strategy, but that’s on Sauber. Hulkenberg from last to 9th was crazy too. Alonso is such a crafty driver, awesome defending at the end to keep his position.

I really enjoyed the battle between Alonso and Bortoleto. Then Fernando going to give him props after. McLaren is just in a different league

If it happens. Who does Mercedes let go? I think they would let Kimi go, but I think that would be a huge mistake. Kid had gotten lots of potential. Well, as I type this, would Max and Russell even be able to exist within the same team? Hahahaha

Mercedes would let Russell walk. And I could definitely see a seat swap happening between him and Max.

Saw the movie yesterday, kind of what I expected story wise, pretty boiler plate but they do get into F1 nerd stuff a bit more than I would have guessed. The racing footage was incredible on the IMAX, hard to imagine it getting much more authentic than that.

Fun summer popcorn movie, would definitely recommend for anyone, not just F1 fans.
