Explaining the Run Game / OL ( A bit long, sorry)

Actually he had my kid blocking for Mr. Hunt. LOL. His offense was much, much more than Hunt. Passing game
was very effective even though the QB was nothing like he has at ISU.
Not throwing shade at other complementary elements he had at Toledo, nor our current RBs, but the offense this year at ISU would be operating a lot differently if it had Hunt, Montgomery, or Hall in the backfield.

As someone else mentioned NFL talent at RB has masked some things in the past.

Also that full coaching crew at Toledo was a group of guys.

Don't know what that means, but the defense was never great and the offense carried the program while CMC was an assistant and the HC in my opinion. The center for 4 years is also still in the league. So, talent is the key for any program.

Felt like the core guys that CMC brought over with him were then after the first round of departures we needed a bit of a reload.

Obv you know far more than me. My only real point is that Campbells offenses have always looked more functional with NFL level talent in the backfield.
