Ex-Clones at other schools

Aidan Bouman started at QB this past weekend for South Dakota University. They lost 45-24, but he put up ok numbers. 17/30 for 254, 8.5 average, 1 TD and 0 INT. Sacked 5 times though. 6 carries for -35 yards (5 sacks really add up) and 1 rushing TD.

Harsin getting fired reminded me of Craig McDonald's transfer. As best I can tell he hasn't registered a single stat, but I don't see any mention of him being hurt. Is he just that far buried on their depth chart?
No clue, but same, I can't find any stats. He's already used a redshirt at ISU, so he has pretty much wasted a year of eligibility. Hope he got paid well enough to leave and join that dumpster fire.

Isheem Young with 35 total tackles, 18 assisted, 17 solo. Has 1 INT and 2 PBU's. Haven't watched much of Ole Miss, but would assume he starts or at least plays a lot of snaps in a rotation of some kind.

Tarique Milton has 2 rec for 40 yards on the year. One of those catches was the Horns Down most recent game vs. Oklahoma St. Not sure why he left, but can't help thinking he may have been a bigger factor for us this year.

I find it hard to believe that Tarique got that great of an NIL deal. Especially considering his lack of usage. I'm sure we'll never know just how much.
If you want to make assumptions that Texas is pragmatic in their approach to their use of it's monetary resources, then by all means, you go right ahead.

Nah, I won't debate you on it. I do think Texas is one of those schools that basically gives everyone on their roster an "NIL deal" of some kind. Player driven collectives, of which they have at least two that I can find.

Even if he got $25k from texas, that is more money that the top 10 combined athletes at iowa state get in NIL money.

I just thought Sean Shaw Jr graduated... didn't realize he transferred? He hasn't announced where he's going yet?

Do what you love and the money will (not always) take care of it self. My nephew 26 y/o is a talented kid - he lives with mom/dad and works at a skateboard shop in LA. That is his life goal. As an manufacturing engineer, I have no idea what to tell him. My job is 100% stress. His is 0% stress. These guys are doing what they love and will at least have some memories and stories as they move on in life.

Woof. Only 4 kids went to other high major schools(isheem Young not listed). At least 14 had to drop to the FCS level. That is a lot of big misses.

Actually, based upon MC's overall record at Iowa State, these "misses" are a lot less than the past 50 years. The 30-35 guys that never play at Alabama are also "misses?"

Most of them don’t drop to FCS. They go to other high majors or mid majors.

A lot of misses compared to who? I think their misses have gone way down from the past. For the majority of our past, we didn't go beyond the 1 deeps and be competitive. Roughly 75% couldn't play at the DI level.

There are a lot guys at Alabama that never play and don't transfer.....you will never know what there playing level is or is not.

Maybe there is a website that lists all transfers by school and where they ended up. That could be interesting to look at.
