I’m restarting my Dyntasy and switching from Motivator to Recruiter. Only six weeks in so not losing much progress. All the podcasts and such I’ve listened to said you have to go Recruiter.

If I remember correctly, they said in the dynasty deep dive that a gem/bust can be seen as 1 star up/down from their rating.

Well now I’m mad because I have revoked scholarships from 2 5 star busts because I thought they would be 2-3 star players. Should have taken them

I'm just missing a lot of kicks because it feels like I'm aiming far enough to the right or left and I'm definitely not.

And the 50 yarder I tried at Iowa the little football was moving at light speed back and forth.

I’m not sure if this a feature for both consoles but on X-Box you just need to aim it until your controller stops vibrating

I did the same, I think in the old games they also didn't develop as fast as a normal recruit so I just dumped them.

Haven't checked out the other trees yet but I went recruiter and the abilities are pretty solid right away. The early ones all help you be more efficient with your recruiting hours. And it looks like I'm going to get a 5 star and a handful of 4's, I'm not even recruiting 3's unless they're a gem.

I found 5-6 gems, I don't know if being a recruiter gives your targets a better chance of being one or if it's predetermined. But it seemed like a pretty high hit rate to me.

Still very fun. You can make it where a computer does your recruiting for you so all you need to do is recruit.

Do you have vibrations on? Because if you are on a hash and move your aim towards the correct direction, it stops vibrating when you're in the sweet spot (if you're accurate on timing and holding down of course)

Seems to be extremely common that Sama & Cooper transfer after the first season for many doing ISU dynasties, with little (if anything) you can do to stop it.

Another complaint I've seen are with the sim results. People are seeing top 10 teams lose to FCS teams way too often, and themselves losing to teams they have no business losing to when simming. Hopefully they can adjust that to make the ridiculous upsets much less common.

Both came back for me. Cooper wasn't on the transfer list at the end and Sama was swayed into returning. I noticed when I won the conference after the second season all of the Brand Exposure problems dropped.

What was your record year 1? Losing Sama would be a big hit.

Both Cooper and Sama stayed in mine, but Sama left after year 2 for the draft and Hansen didn't develop like I hoped (80 ovr) so my HB room is in pain going into year 3

7-5 and then won the bowl game. I think Cooper was on the list all the way until the bowl so winning that must have helped my Brand rating enough to make the difference.

Anyone have good sliders? Like I'm really struggling because on offense I'm doing fine if not a little to easy, but on defense I feel like I'm an absolute freaking moron who can't do anything. Very rarely do I get a stop and I can't defend a pass at all.

He didn't progress very well in mine. Mid 70's rating going into year 3 and got recruited over.

Has anyone played FCS Midwest? I read an article and it said they are a PITA to play and have been upsetting everyone

I believe hes only a 79 with Arlen Harris Jr being also an 80
