Chittum, carr, feldkamp, yonger, ech all just completely out classed their opponents.

Terukina Terukina'd.

Perry just isn’t ready to be a D1 wrestler. Slightly concerned he may not be a future starter.

Redding wrestled tough. Giving up weight but gave 100%.

Broderson Brodersoned.

Gaitan a bit iffy but did what he had to to get the win.

Agree with this. Great challenge by the coaches. That was huge

Always a wild ride on the Varsity App
This weekend they were next level. I can see how some might dislike but I literally could not love it more. It’s awesome.

I was listening in my garage today getting my snowblower ready for this week and the wife came out when Nate was making fun of the ref and she said “what in the hell are you listening to?!”

Dresser made comment about Perryman thrown into the fire at 133 last second, and commented about MJ looking a bit slow.

I read into those comments.

I had my ear buds in, and during one of the matches - I think it was Redding's - Nate unexpectedly (I should know better by now) hit a crescendo that was so loud my head about exploded and my wife asked what I was listening to that was so loud. She is not a wrestling fan, so when I tried to explain she just rolled her eyes. His passion for the sport is palpable, but I feel for his poor co-host trying to continue the play by play.

Yongers must of been hilarious from how much Nate was laughing
There was one point where the other guy tried some random move that ended in him spinning 180 degrees and Yonger just grabbed him and did a mat return for a takedown!

My grades from the weekend

125 - B, would be a bit higher if he got bonus on ASU kid, but it was good to see him avenge a loss against a ranked opponent (that scored bonus against a couple of ranked opponents at Midlands)

133 - C, if Perryman had these results at 125 I’d go lower, but he was giving up size and battled against CBU. Dresser commented about this being an “11th hour decision” so he wasn’t exactly prepared to go 33.

141 - A, couple of dominant tech’s.

149 - C+, obviously had a tough result on Friday but battled back with a hard fought W against former Husker wrestler Morton. I appreciate what Zach has done at 149.

157 - A, followed up a huge win on Friday by scoring 30 points. Made a couple of mistakes against CBU but rolled.

165 - A, just enjoying the remaining few months that he is in an ISU uniform. Remaining schedule is much tougher for David and I am excited to see how it goes.

174 - B, hard to complain about a 2-0 weekend. Couple of hard fought matches, he did seem a little sluggish which Dresser mentioned after CBU.

184 - B+, got a ranked W on Friday followed by a pin yesterday. Gets a couple of ranked opponents this week, including one that took it to him a few weeks ago.

197 - B, good to see Julien back on the mat. Needs matches at 197. Big opportunity for him this week against a couple of higher ranked 197’s.

285 - A, great weekend for Yonger. Found a way against a stingy Schultz. Has a very difficult match against Pitzer on Sunday. Late in their match at Collegiate Duals it seemed like Pitzer settled in a bit.

I don’t have any problem with Perryman. He was doing a solid just being out there.

Figured Grice would be the backup but good on Perryman

Believe frost made the trip with plans to wrestle, I expect had it been a home dual it would have been grice, but don't think Grice was there although I'm not 100%.
Do we know for sure yet what happened with Frost not wrestling? Maybe it's been said and I missed it. Was it just missing weight?
