This is what we’re playing this weekend per CW. Do we have this crazy stuff at Jack Trice too?

i am slightly concerned about the playing surface, look at the Brazil NFL Game last year, players slipping all over the place and injuries as a result.
This is certainly a take. Sao Paulo and Dublin are so similar after all.

Aviva Stadium is more in tune to rugby than soccer, soccer favors a wet pitch.

Correct me if im wrong, but this has to be a decent advantage doesnt it, or am i overthinking?
Probably overthinking. I doubt the players even notice the synthetic material
Maybe ISU will be better prepared with longer cleats though.
Seems like other teams always slip a little more than ISU does at home.

It's a hybrid... natural grass with synthetic fibers stitched in, yes?

If I understood from the podcast today, its in the root base right? Basically geo-meshing to help maintain integrity.

No, it’s more like artificial grass that’s threaded into the soil

Hopefully this image comes through otherwise just google GrassMax

This is a hybrid. This is a cross, ah, of Bluegrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent, and Northern California Sensemilia. The amazing stuff about this is, that you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon, take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt that night on this stuff

(sorry…had to be done)
