Only went to it a couple of times. As an eastside kid it was a big deal when mom said we were going there.

You had Whitewater though which when in its prime wasnt bad.

I remember it too, but I said Gateway lol. It was in Gateway park where the disc golf course is south of campus. Went there as a kid all the time as I lived by the old middle school growing up.

No Whitewater came out in 1980 and I graduated in 81. So when I was growing up all we had was Teechout pool.

Swam at Camp Dodge pool several times as a kid and remember the water being very cold. A lot of good memories from that place!

Look at that: Camp Dodge Poolhouse Building. I was a country mile across the property from there.

Just an unfathomably huge pool. Literally the size of a football field.

I have a faint memory of an older guy, a veteran I presume, who used to come out and talk through the bullhorn during pool breaks.

Christian Center Water Slide. My butt still hurts! Concrete water slide and if you fell off of your mat, it was a sore trip down the rest of the slide.
