Cytown Update

The university should buy that plot at this point and build something there. Small lecture rooms or offices with retail at the bottom. It just looks bad if you're visiting the university to have seemingly abandoned lots across the street.

Especially since it seems like they're running out of room on campus.
Call it Cy-Village.

It's because they've developed some intense hatred of Pollard and celebrate the chance of anything he does failing.
Yeah, probably this is it.

As Theo Epstein & Bill Walsh once said it is probably best that CEO's/Leaders leave after 10 years or so on a job because by then people will start to tune you out/not like you.

One of the weirdest things on this board and twitter is the amount of people seemingly cheering against this project
Its also strange people that think something like this that was always a 10 year plan is somehow going to be complete in 2 years, start to finish.

Seriously, every single aspect of this project has so many steps to go through, from planning, funding, approval, bidding, infrastructure, planning, funding, approval, bidding, building etc. Then add leasing, and filling the spaces including approval process for that as well. If the main areas of CYTown are complete by the end of 2027 it will still be ahead of the initial schedule.

Some people really dont have any common sense.

It's a bunch of burners on Twitter that get their panties in a twist about everything. We have a lot of bad burner accounts.
There's an account solely dedicated to being mad about cytown. Get a life.

Yeah that guy is a loser. I am sorry that you don't know how land development works and that the entire project was not done in a month.
