My advice is to bring a lighter or some matches with you. The iowa wrestling fan is the missing link on the evolutionary scale of man. If you get cornered by a few of them show them some fire, it scares them and they will back away.
Sounds like there might be a general feeling among their fans that it's not worth the trip to Ames.

If ISU splits the 1st four matches, that's going to be a really long day for the Hawks with the bonus potential that is still to come for ISU at 165, 184, 285.
What a horrible take. Iowa knew in May and added multiple All Americans to replace the guys in trouble. Not our fault they can’t recruit a HWT.
You must remember that Iowa wrestling fans are the dumbest fan base in sports. If you keep that in mind, it actually gets amusing.
Not only dumbest, but most literally live for hawk sports and have little else going on in their own lives. Hawks winning and losing can alter their well-being drastically - watch out.
My favorite was walking out two years ago and hearing several of their fans blaming DSJ for Terry's behavior at the end.

If gambling never happened, they probably don’t get Franek. That puts Chittum as a decided favorite at 57. Also, Feldkamp is favored over Assad too, although likely less bonus. The way Yonger has looked at heavy makes that matchup a tossup. Also, I think VV has a better shot against Casey than he would Paniro so they’re benefitted there.
There were no guaranties, with or without gambling.

I can’t imagine that thanksgiving is going to be much fun for his family members, got to feel bad for those people.
