I know one thing about today's game: ISU was more ready to play today and executed the staff's gameplan better than I've seen in awhile, maybe all year. We were a few made shots and a few instances of better shot selection away from winning this game. For all of the frustration that is evident on this board, I think we could at least admit that this was one of the most prepared-to-play teams that Coach has sent onto the floor since he has been here.
There is one thing that constantly intrigues me as a State fan. In seasons like this one (and unfortunately the last 5 or so), my realization is that when we do have an above-average team again, we just have to win the games we absolutely have to on the road because we are so much better at home. I know this is true across the map in college basketball, but for the most part not quite to the extreme that it is here.
