CU seems like Nebraska ...

I believe from what I've read that Nebraska fans and administration are most disappointed with their move.

Missouri and aTm have experienced some success and no longer are tied in any way to their rivals Ku and Texas which overshadowed them in the B12.

CU probably enjoys the west coast ties more than sports, as a lot of their youngsters come from there. Their football has struggled since leaving the Plains, yes, but it isn't like Nebraska.

WTF man, don't post this type of thing again.... I refuse to believe we can agree on something. :jimlad:

The PAC 12 is about to implode. I would run far away from it. Utah should too
The conference just reached an agreement to let go of one of their most prominent and liked employees. He was there for over 25 years and represented the conference with the utmost professionalism. I met his previous boss (pre-Larry) and really liked him. But, Larry, the master of deceit won over the conference presidents with hopes of grandeur. He wasted countless dollars trying to raise the prestige of the conference. He indebted himself to a TV package which for another couple more years will completely strangle the conference. He played favoritism since day one and it's completely and utterly backfiring. The odd thing is the conference presidents are completely inept at following a balance sheet. Otherwise, good ol Larry would have been sent packing several years ago.

Of the teams that left, is Texas A&M the only one that doesn't regret it?

I don't know if they actually miss the Big 12 but I'm sure it just kills them that they don't play Texas annually. Their hatred for Texas is so strong, the lyrics in their fight song is almost completely about the Longhorns. Yes, that whole school is a bunch of cult like freaks, but rivalry and hatred is what truly makes college football and they don't have that in the SEC.

The Mizzou fans I know claim to love the SEC, but they usually come right back down to earth when you mention that they don't have any rivals anymore. The Arkansas/Mizzou rivalry is that area's Nebraska/Iowa. A lot hype from the media that its a rivalry, when the fans don't even really care. How fun.

The sorry thing about it for CU is that Mizzou, aTm and the cornholers all bellied up to the trough and are making more money by leaving. CU is making less, than if they had stayed and traveling more miles.

My wife, who is three years younger than me and went to school at Arizona and graduated in 2012. She had no idea that Colorado was in the Big 12 just a few short years earlier. I will say that while she was a basketball fan, didn’t really pay attention to football, and the general landscape of college athletics.
