Coursera?

Related to the online IT degree thread, has anyone taken a class from Coursera? I'm interested in some of their classes, mostly for personal development, but I'm open to the idea of getting a specialization if they are at all beneficial. Just looking for input.

I've done 6+ Coursera classes. I usually take the things I didn't have time for in college - geology, astronomy, earth science stuff, evolution-type classes. Never paid for a certificate and just do the video lectures and none of the postings or quizzes.

My wife does mostly the business management garbage and is currently in the Learning How to Learn class and likes it.

I have done several. Mine were computer programming and I learned a lot. I wish I had more time to do them.

Edx does the same type of stuff

I haven't done any of them yet, but a good friend of mine keeps telling to check this website out.
