With ISU improving to 5-2 and 2nd in the Big 12, will an undefeated TCU be enough to get game day to Ames? It will be a top 25 matchup and the best game is likely in Columbus where game day already went this year.

I doubt it, but win the next two games somehow and they would be when OSU comes to town.

TCU is good but has such a small fanbase. if it was #4 OU or Texas coming then we might have a chance.

I could see it with the stories going on with this team with Kempt, beast Montgomery and of course Lannning and this defense. I don't expect it, but can see it.

Different sport ... but this picture alone has to be pretty convincing

ESPN will do whatever it can to snub the Big 12...this game isn’t even a blip on their radar. No Texas, no OU, no match of undefeated’s...no go.

They will be in Ames or Notre Dame.

We have the advantage of our game being on ABC/ESPN vs NBC for them. Also will make a difference if the beat USC today.

Gameday was ar Fort Worth 2 weeks ago. That being said they are not coming to Ames.

Doubt it. I think we're definitely in the top 4 for the running. Next week, there is the following big games:

TCU @ Iowa State
Oklahoma State @ West Virginia
Penn State @ Ohio State
Georgia @ Florida
NC State @ Notre Dame

I doubt they do a Penn State game in back to back weeks, but I still think they go to one of the other games. If we're ranked still when Oklahoma State comes to Ames, that could be a possibility.

Let's hope they understand how big of a turnout this would get. A few things that will help us:

Both teams will be ranked. TCU is top 4 and undefeated
They've never been to Ames. It would be a ********.
We have legitimately good storylines in Campbell, Lanning, Kempt, Montgomery.

It seems more likely than I would've thought, but I might still be riding that post-win high.

Yeah, every now and then they’ll throw the league a bone. TCU has been good for quite a few years...they were undefeated and playing a 1-loss WVU team looking to upset the race for 2nd. They’ve already given the Big 12 their handout.

With the way Herbie is chirping, I don’t want them around.
