Congrats to Tyrese

Crazy to think Royce only won one post-season game at Iowa State. What a waste of his career
Do you think he’ll ever bring up Hallice and Clayton not getting minutes at ISU but squaring off in a sweet 16 game while NBAers BDJ, Nader, Morris, Long, Thomas, and Niang lost to UAB?
What a waste.

a combined all-star team of prohm and mcD players vs. Fred's teams would be a close game (starting 5).

Sucks they had to face one of the best teams in college basketball history. That team just took a little too long to mesh in the non conference.

Horrible coaching job to get that seem the seed they gotten. Team team had minimum Sweet 16 talent

Morgan had some ballers too. I remember even watching Tasheed play at St Joe's thinking man, he's pretty dang good.

Imagine thinking two players who were Honorable Mention All Conference were two of the most talented players in school history. Lol
How are they not? There’s a difference between saying they were the two most talented players in ISU history and saying they were two of the most talented players in ISU history. THT and Wigginton are definitely two of the most talented players ISU has had. We’ve had a lot of talented players in this program and they are in the discussion.

Wigginton was an HM All Conference player at Iowa State and is playing for the Iowa Wolves after going undrafted. How is he one of the most talented players in school history?

What a waste.

Wasn't Matt Thomas having a really nice game vs. UAB, then didn't play at all in the 2nd half while Fred wasted everyone's talent?

Everyone knows why Lindell left.

Yep, and he took out Jim Calhoun in his first NCAA tourney game!

Lindell was hoping to be a one and done. If he would have gotten good feedback after his first year he was gone. Would that have been Prohms fault? I’m sure his feedback both years suggested he grow 3-4 inches for the position he was suited to play in the NBA. Nothing changed and wasnt going to for him in college. Why not play hoops full time rather than go to class and give yourself the best shot to play yourself into an NBA contract? It’s not that hard to figure out why he left and tbh it was in his best interest.

Very impressive by Tyrese. Could tell the wrist was still bothering him but still had an incredible game.

Well let’s see here, there’s a ton of talented players in the Big 12 so just because you didn’t make 1st/2nd/3rd team doesn’t mean you weren’t an extremely talented player.

Well we've had a ton of players that have done it so I don't think he's one of the most talented players in school history and I loved Lindell. He was very good but he's probably in the same category as Will Clyburn not Tyrese and Shayok

Lindell would have made it if he didn’t have the injury his Sophomore year or if we didn’t suck his freshman year. Did Nader or Burton ever make it? I’d consider them some of our most talented players too. Have we had more talented players? Obviously but that doesn’t mean they aren’t extremely talented.

Nader and Burton are in the league but no I wouldn't put them in the top group

Who would you put in your top 10 of most talented players at Iowa State? Keep in mind too that I’m only talking about players that I’ve seen play. I’m not going back before 2000 because I didn’t see anybody before that year play.

I wasn't that big of an LW , or THT fan, so let's give this a try off the top of my head (and <2000 definitely counts!).

PGs: Hornacek, Tinsley, Morris, Stinson, Blalock, Kane
PFs: Niang, Ejim, White, Brackins, Fizer, Grayer
SGs: Hoiberg, Stevens, Willoughby, Sullivan, Thomas, Naz
C's: Victor, Cato, Meyer

I"m probably forgetting some obvious ones, but there's a top 20 that without a doubt were better, more talented players than THT and LW.
