Some acts this summer coming to Chicago if you're interested:

The Black Keys - March 19th
BB King - March 22nd
Boyz II Men - March 25th
Van Halen - April 1st
Philip Glass - April 1st
Snow Patrol - April 21st
Rammstein - May 4th
The Beach Boys - May 21st
Red Hot Chili Peppers - May 28th
Kenny Chesney - July 7th
Coldplay - August 7th and 8th

Some other "smaller" bands include Portugal. The Man, The Cranberries, Foster the People, Kasabian, Guster, Local H, Ben Kweller, Of Montreal, The Fray, Mindless Self Indulgence, G. Love and the Special Sauce, Ministry

Of course then there's Lolla in August as well.


More concerts will be announced of course as the days go by.
 
Just got my tickets for Iron Maiden/Alice Cooper at Rockfest. Cadott Wisconsin July 21st
 
This entire thread is making me feel old. I was going to suggest tower of power this weekend in des moines. On tour this summer will be killer shows by Chickenfoot, Aerosmith, and Van Halen. If you are into it, REO and Styx are again touring together. I've seen REO over a dozen times and never get tired of them. Big Styx fan, but only the original lineup.
