Don't let the French stop you. Coluche plays a bumbling cop in "Inspecteur la Bavure". While staking out a neighborhood on the lookout for a gang of thieves who disguise themselves as movers, his partner runs off to have a drink with a chum, so, when Bavure spots the movers (not far from Les Invalides), he tries to call his partner. Unfortunately, his mic is on speaker...
I had to watch this next one a few times with subtitles to understand what was being said, but the visual is not to be missed. In "Night on Earth", Roberto Benigni plays a cab driver in Rome who picks up a bishop at midnight and decides that it's a great time for a confession.
It's a bit clunky but Uncle Buck is very much peak John Candy and I'm glad they got one in before he passed.
