Bought tickets for the Cubs before I saw this scheduled. Bummed to be missing it, really fun event. Will be a great way to meet and mingle with the new staff in a laid back setting.
I'll be there! Favorite event of the year! It's not too late to register. You won't regret coming. While the rain will surely hold off, there is a plan to move inside if weather becomes an issue. Don't let that sway you to not come out.
What a great event. Was able to attend this year due to the fact that we were in the area for a family gathering. You can walk right up and chat with the coaches. They all seem like really good guys. The event was emceed by John Walters. They had the stadium lit up with the big screens and ribbon boards. Was able to play catch on the field with my Son. Just awesome. They also auction off some sweet game day experiences. I'd encourage anyone who can do it to attend this event, and others like it, to support the Gridiron Club. Hats off to all those who volunteer and make all this stuff possible. Thank you for a great Friday evening!
