Civic Vs Altima

The thing you have to realize is the Honda Civic and Nissan Altima are in two different classes - the Civic is the compact/intermediate segment, the Altima is mid-sized. If you want true side-by-side comparisons, you would compare the Honda Civic to the Nissan Sentra and the Nissan Altima to the Honda Accord. As a large guy at times it's quite uncomfortable to drive compact cars, other times it's outright dangerous (knees pressed so tightly into the underside of the dash that I cannot move my leg to manipulate the brake and accelerator), so for my purposes I outright rule out compact cars.

Nearly two years ago my wife and I bought a 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5SL (4-cylinder). Quite frankly, it's the best car I have ever owned. When it's warm out, I get 33.5+ mpg highway, when it's cold I get 31+ mpg. And for a car that's great on gas mileage it's not short on power either. The only "issue" I have is feeling a little conscious about driving a "foreign" car in the Detroit metro area (ironically, my Altima was made in Tennessee, while my Grand Prix was made in Canada - which is the "American" car?). However, I like the car so much that that really doesn't bother me all that much, and wouldn't stop me from buying another foreign car, even living where I do.

I did also test drive two different 2008 Honda Accords. The 6-cylinder was a lot of fun to drive and is good on gas mileage for a 6-cylinder engine. I was not nearly as impressed with the 4-cylinder engine. The car felt sluggish, as if the car was too heavy for that engine.

I don't understand what sexuality has to do with what car you drive? That's great that your friends straight but I don't see what that has to do with anything. I wish we lived in a world where people didn't bring up sexuality, try not to be so judgmental.

Nice edit on your original post.

You've given yourself away as a troll with this line though.

The Altima is a bigger car than the Civic, but I dont think its a huge difference(Im looking 07-09 years for these cars). Thats one thing I give the Altima an advantage on, but on the other hand, I think the civic gets a little better gas mileage for this reason

It doesn't have to be. I have an Altima Coupe.

how about option 3 and get something thats not a chick car? nothing says my life is boring as hell as driving those two cars.

What you driving bro?

Ohhh sorry! I didn't realize you were female. My bad, carry on, will rep on recharge!

I'd go with the Altima, my Lebanese friend drives one. She's super rad.

Were you picked on as a child?
