i wouldn’t mind losing a few pounds......maybe I should check into that. Would a month drop 25 pounds?

I remember years ago, hearing somewhere that the instances of child stars having issues, is no worse than the regular population, it's just that you hear about every child star who had a problem. Don't have a link and a quick google didn't turn anything up.
That being said, it's actually hard to believe that every child star doesn't become a complete **** up. I mean imagine making that kind of money as a kid. I'm sure I would have went off the rails as well. How are your parents supposed to tell you no, when everyone else around you is bending over backwards to keep you happy. Add in half the time the parents or someone else close blowing all their money before they get to see it and it's easy to see how staying on the straight an narrow is the hard part.

Imagine being 10 and everyone around you giving you everything you want, never saying "no," and telling you that you're the most amazing thing ever. Then one day it just ends without warning. Kids aren't built to cope with that in the absence of very strong support/role models around them.
