Is there a running tally thread or a Cyfan page that chronicles football players that have left ISU for the portal. I haven't followed it closely but doesn't seem that many have left ISU this year.

Don't confuse the handful posters on here that treat this site as a FT job with the vast majority of Cyclones, many of which rarely post but do visit this site. Most of us are much more optimistic!I think the number you need is how many guys voluntarily enter the portal and how many are forced to. Don’t think we can ever get those numbers and I know this board will just go negative and say that many are forced but that’s the number we need
Assuming there are, but has anyone heard who some of the other transfer targets are? Sounds like we are still in the running for this Teslaa kid from Hillside, but have not heard any other names lately
If we are going after a kicker this would be a good get. Solid out to 50 and a great touchback rate on kickoffs. Their starting punter as well.
Had a short commit from him previously.
Hopefully he didn’t burn any bridges with the staff.Depending on how it all went down, I like our chances here. We sure could use him.
We’d be dumb to pass up a chance with a leg like Becker has, and Campbell has shown he’s going to recruit over you every year. With that being said, I don’t think he’s coming to ISUBecker would be nice and a definite upgrade but I’m a little skeptical that ISU will really be looking to add a kicker from the portal. Isn’t Gilbert on scholarship? I would imagine that the coaches don’t want to use multiple schollies on kicker and would rather just bank on some development from a guy who was just a true freshman
Well our best player, hands down, on our team was X. So it's no surprise that we tried to force feed him the ball 10 plus times a game.Yes, I am saying that. Mainly because they haven't played well. I suppose Greg Gaines or whoever could be this top secret weapon but if so, then why didnt he play last year? Its not like our WR room was loaded with guys making plays.
Which guys do you take issue with me saying are bad? Nobody last year even flashed anything other than Hannicka and Norton. Brock is a fair shout, im just not gonna invest a ton in him right now with all the injuries he had last year and I believe only one more year to play
It doesnt matter how good they are in high school if they dont develop after getting here.
this just goes to show the guys leaving our program aren't big 12 caliber players.![]()
Majority of last years guys went to G6 or lower level too.this just goes to show the guys leaving our program aren't big 12 caliber players.
all of them have ended up at the lower level (so far)
I mean, none of these guys really saw significant playing time the last two years so it makes sense. I'd be a little alarmed if any of them were starters and dropped down a level.this just goes to show the guys leaving our program aren't big 12 caliber players.

Don’t you also think that some of these guys get stuck behind a guy who has greatly exceeded expectations?Sometimes a guy just needs a change of scenery and sometimes you get one who turns out to be more than fans expected (see MJ Anderson). The second tier of transfers are certainly not always going to be players that see the field, but I would bet that there is a higher probability of success than your average high school recruit (especially late signees).
Tavon Kyle will be interesting.I mean, none of these guys really saw significant playing time the last two years so it makes sense. I'd be a little alarmed if any of them were starters and dropped down a level.

With that said though. Noel increased his receptions by over 60%. And his yards by over 129%. He had some huge drops, but 60+ receptions and 600+ yards is no joke.
Stanley wasn't a statistical monster, but had his most productive season in college. Again when 55% of Dekkers completions are going to 2 guys, and there's 14 (16 players caught a pass this year for us) other guys to feed. It's hard to do put up huge numbers.
I don't think your wrong in thinking that. I just think the opportunity wasn't there for most of these guys to showcase what they can do.
Our biggest thing going into next season is Dekkers needs to go from 14 INTs, down to 7 or less.
Tarique Milton played his Senior year at Texas. Had 2 catches for 40 yards.Majority of last years guys went to G6 or lower level too.
