Lol. That’s not my point at all, but whatever.

This season on the whole will be the worst in modern history.

Well there were people that just wanted any sort of season including players so they got it.

I was not all that high on it and still don't put much stock in it, as there's simply more to life BUT I can admit it's been something to look forward to and at least it's live. I really should have tallied how many times I randomly watched each episode of King of Queens since March.

Also I was in the 'college kids can live without it' camp but watching them play is a good reminder about how when you're invested in something like that, at that age, it's truly what can keep you going.

I agree that something is better than nothing. That said, it still has been boring without fans and consistency week to week

There were a number of years in the 80's and 90's where ISU football was extremely consistent.

I'll take this version of boring any day.

Yeah I get that but ISU having a player like Hall who is in a mode you don't see often from RBs in today's game is far from boring.

I’m not talking about the ISU games, I’m talking about every other game in college football. Without fans and consistency, it’s the equivalent of high school football.

I AM talking about ISU games, as an ISU fan, on an ISU fan site.

I am sorry you can't find a home

Yep, I’m not insane.

There's a forum for the Hawk Trolls though, and this isn't it.

I mean i do kind of get what he was trying to say.

It does figure that we'd have a great season, one we were set to have anyway, in the season that most everyone around the country is going to write off as a fluky mess.

Just like i'm pretty sure that if ISU ever goes to the national championship game an asteroid will hit right as ISU is about to score the game-winning touchdown.

If you are finding the regular season choppy and missing something I can understand that. It is different, but you just have to accept it for what it is.

I will say though, if they can get to the CFP, the playoffs may be the best we've had. I could watch Clemson/ND again. I mean between Clemson (with Lawrence), Ohio State, Alabama, ND and maybe our first true Cinderella type of team if a team like Cincinnati can squeeze in there, this could be a heck of a playoff slate of games. We shall see.

I don't know. When I am watching an ISU game I think I run through pretty much the same range of emotions and intensity that I have any other year.

I have the same disdain for certain teams I have had any other year.

I am not bored at all watch the B1G struggle and PSU and kNU go a combined 1-7.

Different, yep. Boring or worse, nope.

Won’t we see Clemson/ND in the ACC Championship game? Seems like that might be an elimination game for whoever loses

If Clemson wins the ACC title game and it's OT like the first one, I could absolutely see the committee taking them both with Bama and Ohio State. Regardless my point was I could see 2-3 games in the playoffs like that Clemson/ND game and I will be entertained and very satisfied. This year appears to have a chance to have a really good and even playoff. But we shall see.

I’ll worry about that after the great season I guess, no need to **** on it now.
