The only cassettes I still have are personal music recordings that exist only in that format. I've wanted to get a good cassette-to-digital converter gizmo, but it's always been low-priority and I didn't know what product might work best, so I still haven't transferred those.
I don't want to buy a cassette player just to play them. I wouldn't listen to it that often anyway, but I'd like to have a digital backup in case the cassettes no longer player (or if somehow they'd get misplaced and tossed).
