It seems like it always takes 2-3 attempts for it to read my card at Casey’s. “Try that again”

This is funny because I went to a Jordan Davis concert Friday in KC and we stopped when we hit Missouri border since you can drink in the back seats. Get up to the register and cashier says "card insert doesn't work so you either have to tap to pay or insert 3 times until it fails to swipe." I try tap to pay, she tries tap to pay, end up having to go the 3 fails to a swipe.

The Brooklyn Center, MN is hot garbage. Zero breakfast pizza at 8:30 this morning. Zero any pizza at noon yesterday. If it weren't the closest gas station to work, I'd never go.

Maybe you could try eating something other than gas station food.

Casey's used to be my go to about 5-10 years ago...now it is always Kwik Star. Shouldn't even really be debatable at this point which one is better.

It's a gas station. I go wherever It's convenient and avoid going inside if I can. I can't wait until I get an electric vehicle and can completely cut gas stations out of my life.

Well.... your house is a charging station basically. So I guess when I go on vacation or long weekend trips I would have to stop at one. How about I amend my statement to say cut gas stations MOSTLY out of my life.

Kwik Star pizza is actually pretty good too, for gas station pizza. I'm not going to make a claim to it being quite to to Caseys standard, but it isn't far off. They don't seem to sell it by the slice very reliably is my only complaint

The caffeine version was banned in 2010-11 ish. I remember going to Aj’s liquors and buying cases the last night they were available on a fire sale, sold them to sorority girls for $10 a pop the rest of the year which paid for my bar tabs on Welch.

The current version doesn’t have caffeine.

Casey's is turning into a last resort for me. Kwik Star is starting to take over Cedar Rapids with 10 locations. My prediction is Casey's will survive like Dollar General and make a living in small rural towns where there is no competition.

It will be interesting to see what happens when that Kwik Star opens on 1st Ave next to the car wash. I suspect it's going to heavily eat into the Casey's and Kum&Go down the street.

My thoughts exactly. Kum and Go may get a bump when they rebrand to Maverick but I have to thnik it will be hard on that Casey's.
