Tim's Amoco (on the corner of 1st St. And Ankeny Blvd.) doesn't look like much from the outside but they have never done me wrong. They've actually talked me out of some work that I thought needed done but they said it could wait or wasn't worth it. They also fixed my serpentine belt once when it broke at the intersection there at 4:55pm on July 3rd even though I said it could wait until after the holiday if needed. Great guys.
I have an older vehicle and use to use Woody's all the time, but had really bad experiences there my last couple of visits. Those experiences prompted me to try Tim's, and it is hands down a more trusted shop IMO.
Woody's and Tim's are both good.
CyStalker - Too bad about Woody's. I'm sure if you talked to Bill Wood (owner) he would try to make it right. Bill's a good guy.
