Bracket Predictions 2025-26

Hasn’t everybody been saying that the conference tournaments don't matter? Why are so many talking about movement of seeds based on this weekend?
I don’t think it matters much unless something stands out like an injury or a team gets upset or blown out. No one really knows how it will be factored into their decisions.

Teams I’d like to avoid in the 7-10 range:
  1. Iowa: I think they’re a 9 seed probably, but want no part of rivalry games in the dance
  2. Kentucky: blue blood, and admittedly, probably more scared of their name than their team
  3. UCLA: been playing well of late, but could be out at least one starter
No other 6, 7, 10, 11s concern me right now honestly. I really wanted to avoid Wisconsin as a 6, they’ve probably moved up to a 5, and Florida as a 3, who’ve moved up to a 1, earlier in the process

Florida has the last number 1. Now the argument shifts to Houston vs. UConn for the top #2 seed. I would go with Houston. Very close, but Houston has a better SOS and UConn does have the Creighton loss.
Don't be so sure that Florida is locked in. I think Houston gets it

we’re for sure a 2 seed it’s just a matter of which 2, is hate to get matched up with Duke or Florida.

This bracketologist won last year on the bracket matrix site. No real disagreements. UCONN shouldn't be the second 2 seed but this version was updated yesterday morning so assume that changes.

This would put us as the 2 in the Midwest with Michigan. With the bracketing principles avoiding top 4 in conference in a same bracket, we’d be looking at Gonzaga or Nebraska as the 3.

If the charter concerns are to be believed, it would be Nebraska for sure

This is too easy.

We’ll be the 2 seed in the St. Louis, and face the winner of St. Louis vs Iowa.

Mich the 1 and Nebraska the 3.
