***Bowl Games Thread***

This is beyond STUPID. If that isn't control of the ball, I have no idea what is. They are ruining the game.

It looks like they cancelled the game due to positive tests in the program, but I didn't see anything saying they could have played. Of course, I didn't look super hard.

So they could have played, but chose not to. Their AD even admits it. ISU shouldn't have played the Louisiana game either.

Hats off to Ohio State. They look completely different tonight. I was one of the many who thought Clemson would win tonight and possibly by 10+ points. I will eat crow on this one, and if this Ohio State team shows up in the title game, they have a real chance to beat Bama.

Agree up to the Bama part, but I thought Clemson would cruise tonight...

You are claiming that Lawrence had control of that? If so, you are very much wrong. Ball got poked out and he just slapped his hand on top of it. Definitely not control.

So when Lawrence goes back to throw and has the ball in one hand..... that ball isn't in his control because he only has one hand on it? Pretty sure Lawrence can palm a football if I can.

I think you are in for a potential surprise as are many. Again, I said if this Ohio State team shows up when they play Bama and didn't put all their eggs into getting revenge on Clemson, they can beat Bama. Bama's defense is not anything special and can be scored upon. See Ole Miss and Florida. Ohio State has the offense to hang with them, so it will come down to a couple of stops or key turnovers.

It's going to be won in the trenches, and Ohio State's line has looked very good tonight on both sides.

Completely difference argument, don't be ridiculous. The ball started coming loose and was trying to hold it against his hip, which is not control. The ball hit the ground with Lawrence trying to maintain control and he didn't, he only put his hand on it, and definitely didn't palm the damn ball to regain possession. Pretty easy call and you are wrong.
