Came back on Direct TV. Still cancelling after college football. Going the streaming route, just unsure which one.
While I agree with you. It would also be funny to watch another SEC team lose. So there is a plus side.
Whar the announcers from the Gator-Sooner game when you need 'em?
How many on FL were defensive and how did their Heisman QB look since he opted in?
Also it's not like a 5-4 Auburn is going to be very good anyway.
don't understand Auburn not running the ball on 1st and goal from the 4. Instead they threw 3 really low percentage passes.
You don’t even need a free trial for YouTube, some games are streamed for free, just search for college football live.
Georgia running game is nonexistent, receivers can't get open and when they are Daniels under throws them.
Remarkable considering how easily they were gaining yardage in the run game early in the 1st quarter.
I’ve been pondering the opt out question. I know a lot of blame is pointed to the playoffs, but I wonder if it is a side effect of the tv contracts?
before the current tv contracts, not every game was televised. this Message board has thoroughly discussed the decline of Nebraska in relation to not being the only team on tv, along with other reasons.
I remember not too many years ago how big of a deal it was for ISU to be televised.
bowl games were a rare chance where teams were guaranteed to be televised, making it a little more important for the teams and players individually.
now every game is televised and given the bowl treatment, so the bowls don’t really matter as it truly is just another game, against a non conference team, making it mean even less.
I think the only way to change a mentality is to expand the playoffs and make those bowl games actually mean something.

Why are people rooting against Cincinnati? Anything that drags down the SEC is for the best.
Not against Cincy. It's fun to see the party crashers beat the "blue bloods"; hope they do.
I assume it's purely out of annoyance and how whiny they were at us being ranked ahead of them.
We would handle both of these teams...neither has beaten anybody good and Georgia was crushed in both losses.
